ted talk tuesday: how Christmas lights helped guerrillas put down their guns

heyoooooo!

(how i usually look after dropping a mad "heyooooo"...)

things have been pretty quiet around here, and that's likely because the last two weeks were super busy, and the last couple of days have been utter bliss: watching netflix, taking naps, crafting with my best friend, taking naps, and cooking at my leisure (, and taking naps).
i have lots to share, but i figured i'd spread it out instead of inundating you with a novel-long blog post today!
instead, i am going to share this ted talk i watched and loved. with christmas coming up next week (which is still crazy to me!!!!!), i found this particularly touching and inspirational.
merry almost-Christmas (or happy holidays!)!

ted talk tuesday: the danger of a single story

happy tuesday, lovelies!
i have been swamped with schoolwork over the past couple of weeks. and when i am feeling particularly discouraged and wondering about the point of it all, i call my mom first, and then i head to ted talk for inspiration.
this talk was particularly motivating for me as a former classroom educator and blossoming higher education professional. it reminds us that we are all still students, and we all still have so much to learn. i hope you enjoy!
