I loved working there - I and my apartment always smelled AMAZING!
The henna makes your hair feel great but it is just so gritty (ugh!).
And the protein treatment makes sense! I may try that this weekend.
I will definitely let you know about the dupe! I think a mix of SMCS and KCCC may be kind of close, but if you have to buy them both, it's still kind of expensive!Britt @ The Pinnacle Projecthttp://thepinnacleproject.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608176508791999390.post-41982811508857755282014-11-14T14:28:31.635-08:002014-11-14T14:28:31.635-08:00Henna is just amazing!!!!! I took a while to try it myself, and then I fell in love with it, and now I'm back in love :)
And thank you - they like to be disobedient at times :-/
And glycerin is NOT the business in this dry weather anymore!Britt @ The Pinnacle Projecthttp://thepinnacleproject.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608176508791999390.post-13574558159731366282014-11-14T14:27:34.578-08:002014-11-14T14:27:34.578-08:00The Lush henna in itself is more of a gloss becaus...The Lush henna in itself is more of a gloss because it's mixed with cocoa butter and lots of other stuff. Unfortunately, they use super gritty henna, which makes it kind of a pain. I don't find it messy because I have gotten really good at not making a mess with mixing, but it definitely takes more effort than it should washing it out :-/

I did find someone on etsy who makes henna gloss blocks with really nice ingredients using Jamila henna (which I used to use and is super non-gritty), but it's more expensive. I may splurge after the Lush one runs out.

Also, thank you! I don't think I will add much more because I like the pop that can still be hidden if I need to meet with someone and need to look more professional! That location is perfect, but I may make the section larger though the next time I do it.Britt @ The Pinnacle Projecthttp://thepinnacleproject.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608176508791999390.post-60517642545332632612014-11-13T12:22:05.509-08:002014-11-13T12:22:05.509-08:00#1 Why did I not know that you used to work at LUS...#1 Why did I not know that you used to work at LUSH? Omgosh---LOVE LOVE LOVE that place! I've been planning (and subsequently forgetting) to go there and let them apply a henna treatment. (Ya know---so that I don't have to get my own bathroom stained with my own clumsiness!) Whenever my cousin struggles to define her natural curls, I just apply a protein treatment with heat. it works like a charm!

When you find that less expensive dupe for Dirty--call me!
